The mission of the Foundation is to support development of engineers and technical personnel through selective motivational awards, prizes and scholarships, grants for educational activities of unique and high value and professional educational programs. AFCEA Educational Foundation	AMVETS annually awards scholarships to veterans, their sons, daughters or grandchildren. A son, daughter or grandchild of a deceased veteran is also eligible. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need, the scholarships go to deserving high school seniors, high school JROTC students and veterans pursuing a higher education. The Army College Fund (ACF) is an enlistment incentive option designed to aid in the recruitment of highly qualified Soldiers for critical or shortage Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). The ACF supplements the basic Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) entitlement. Army College Fund (ACF)	The LRP is a special enlistment incentive that the Army offers to highly qualified applicants at the time of enlistment. Admission Requirement
Submit an original DD295, AARTS or SMART transcript. Army enlisted personnel, who entered the military after Oct. 1, 1981, may submit an AARTS (Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcripts System) transcript. Air Force personnel, who entered the service after 1972, should include a transcript from the Community College of the Air Force.
