The mission of the Foundation is to support development of engineers and technical personnel through selective motivational awards, prizes and scholarships, grants for educational activities of unique and high value and professional educational programs. AFCEA Educational Foundation	AMVETS annually awards scholarships to veterans, their sons, daughters or grandchildren. A son, daughter or grandchild of a deceased veteran is also eligible. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need, the scholarships go to deserving high school seniors, high school JROTC students and veterans pursuing a higher education. The Army College Fund (ACF) is an enlistment incentive option designed to aid in the recruitment of highly qualified Soldiers for critical or shortage Military Occupational Specialties (MOS). The ACF supplements the basic Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB) entitlement. Costs

Tuition: For undergraduate programs active duty tuition is reduced by 55 percent to $165 per semester credit and 38 percent for veterans – 38 percent. Graduate programs also offered reduced tuition rates.

Other: Technology fees are waived for military and veteran students and books are provided at no additional cost.

Kaplan University is proud to offer active-duty military, military spouses and veterans substantial tuition reductions to help ease the financial burden of education.
-Undergraduate program tuition is reduced 55 percent for active-duty servicemembers (including reserve and guard units)
-Veterans are eligible for a 38 percent tuition reduction on undergraduate programs
-Spouses of active-duty servicemembers receive a 10 percent tuition reduction on all undergraduate and graduate programs
-Graduate program tuition is reduced 12 to 22 percent depending on program and active-duty or veteran status

Admission Requirement

An applicant to the University’s undergraduate programs must:
a. Be a high school graduate, or
b. Possess a General Education Development (GED) certificate, or
c. Possess a Home Study certificate or transcript from a Home Study program that is equivalent to high school level and recognized by the student’s home state, and be beyond the age of compulsory attendance in that state, or
d. Be a high school senior eligible to apply and submit proof of high school graduation.
